3 things to do in your yoga retreat to make it stand out
I am a yoga and wellness photographer and a yoga teacher. I have been on many retreats either as a teacher or as a photographer and I can now discern what is needed to make a yoga retreat unforgettable.
Yoga retreat at the Quaives… number two
As it turns out, The Quaives is a very popular destination for yoga retreats. Having now been there twice, I understand why. The studio is gorgeous, the countryside is peaceful and the bungalows are luxurious. Being there in the Autumn was such a joy as we got to use the Swedish hot tubs in the sunset and go on Autumnal walks early in the mornings, which was such a sweet way to ease into the season and renewed my love for it.
Yoga retreat in Cornwall
I don’t think I can pick a favourite when it comes to retreats but this one might have a slight advantage: it is the first in person retreat I organised with my boyfriend and business partner Mike Julian. We escaped to Cornwall with a mix of both our students in a gorgeous farm and were able to pet many animals although my heart belonged to the three little lambs.

Yoga retreat to welcome autumn
I do love Autumn … Mica Francis Angel and I met on Instagram and she is one of those people with whom I regularly check in online and we say “we should get coffee together!” and then life happens. It is the London curse of working with lovely people and not having enough time! 2021 wins as a yoga & retreat photographer in London
What a year 2021 has been - on a personal level, it sure was a whirlwind. I entered a deep healing journey that has resulted in an expansion of everything around me, including my professional life. I still see the ripple effects of all the seeds I’ve planted throughout my life and I’m excited to see where 2022 takes me!
